1.Who we are
Meu Kumbu ("we", "us") is a mobile application that helps you track your personal finances. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
2.Data we collect
We collect: (a) account information you provide (full name, email, phone number, gender, optionally birth date, country, province and employment status); (b) financial data you record (income, expenses, categories, descriptions, dates); (c) technical data needed to run the App, such as anonymous device identifiers and crash logs.
3.How we use your data
We use your data only to provide the service: authenticate you, store and display your transactions, compute monthly summaries and respond when you contact support. We do not sell your data, ever.
4.Where data is stored
Your data is hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL database and Authentication), running on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the region selected for the project. Data may be stored on servers located outside Angola. Supabase applies industry-standard security measures.
5.Sharing
We do not share your personal or financial data with third parties, except (a) infrastructure providers (Supabase) strictly required to run the service, and (b) when legally compelled to do so.
6.Your rights
You can at any time view and edit your profile in the App and delete your account from Settings → My Profile → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: it erases your authentication record, your profile, your budgets and all your transactions, and cannot be undone. To obtain a copy of the data we hold about you, write to [email protected].
7.Security
Authentication is handled by Supabase. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe; please use a strong password and do not share it.
8.Children
The App is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a minor has registered an account, please contact us so we can remove it.
9.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Any change will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this document, and we will notify users of substantial changes inside the App.
